Who am I and what am I doing here?

Did you come here for my origin story? Or you just got lost on your way to my portfolio? Either way strap in for a short tale about how I got started. Well, it all started when I got my first tattoo. Then I got my second. Then I decided to get a sleeve. It all truly snowballs sometimes and here I am tattooing. I’ve always loved drawing my whole life and after landing an apprenticeship at the shop I was coming to for my tattoo addiction, the rest is kinda history. I’ve worked in a street shop, private studio, tattooed at conventions and have met some amazing people along the way.

That’s not all. I still work in my first career actively as a stagehand for live entertainment. This includes setting up, tearing down and working backstage for theatre and concerts (if you’re wondering what the heck a stagehand is, we’re not supposed to be seen so if you don’t know about us we’ve done a good job!) . I am definitely a theatre kid at heart and an all around art lover in every aspect. I chose Local Crew Tattoo as my online name because when working shows, the stagehands who come to help in town are called the Local Crew. Also it rhymed.
